Who is FLARC?
Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club is a general purpose amateur radio club. We participate in a couple of annual operating events, including the Wisconsin QSO party in March, ARRL Field Day in June and Winter Field Day in January. We have members that like to chase DX ( foreign contacts ), work towards awards like WAS ( Worked All States ), build kits, operate QRP ( low power ), participate in Fox Hunts and just about anything else that is amateur radio related.
How to join FLARC
Interested in joining FLARC? Guests are always welcome at our meetings! We typically meet at 7:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month at UW Space Place, 2300 S Park Street in the Villager Mall.
If you are thinking about becoming a ham, or have just received your license, FLARC is a great place to get started. FLARC currently has around 50 members, with hams knowledgeable in just about every aspect of amateur radio.
Member dues are paid annually. Dues are $25 for most members, with a discounted rate of $20 for seniors, $14 for second member in same household and $10 for students. Dues help to fund club events and equipment.
New members can join at any of our meetings, or if you are ready to join now, you can join online or via mail. To join via mail print out and fill out, and mail the form and member dues to the address below. Checks should be made out to "FLARC".
