Meeting called to order at 19:33 by Steve Ujvarosy, W9GZO.
Motion to approve the minutes as corrected of the December 2025 meeting by Sam Ledbetter, KI5POE. Seconded by Jim Lattis, K9REO, all in favor.
Treasurers report submitted and read by Sam Ledbetter, KI5POE. Current checking account balance is $4,095.28. Certificate of Deposit is $4,132.70. Thirty paid members. Motion to approve the Treasurers Report by Paul Anderson, WB9QVV. Seconded by Rex Blazer, N9TRX, all in favor.

VE Report for December 2025
Eight volunteer examiners in attendance.
Six candidates resulting in two new Technician Class licenses and three upgrade to General Class.
Old Business
Ann Reh, KD9ZUE, will lead the 2026 holiday party effort.
ARRL Field Day planning continues. Jeff Fritsche, KE9CQP, is looking for people to take on various positions and rolls. The signup will be circulated for operating times and modes. The antenna group meet at Schumacher Farm Park to review what antennas are to be used and their placement. Ann Reh, KD9ZUE, will be our photographer. Doug Speer, W9WTX, will be facilities coordinator. Paulette Quick, WB9VHF, will coordinate he GOTA station. Ann Reh, KD9ZUE, is also working on designing an updated club logo. Steve Ujvarosy, W9GZO, and Craig Uselman, KA9RGN, are working on communications to dignitaries. We still need a social media coordinator. A Zoom ARRL Field Day meeting is scheduled for March 3th, 2026.
Jim Lattis, K9REO, gave an update on the status of UW Space Place. The space at has been leased at the Villager Mall since 2005 and the lease will end in June 2026. All FLARC equipment stored at UW Space Place will have to find an alternative location.
The board of directors continues to look into new locations to host our club meetings.
Steve Ujvarosy, W9GZO, announced that we would not be passing a budget for 2026 until such time as budget requirements are better known.
Patrick McCauley, NT9A, announced he is planning a presentation on NVIS for the February club meeting.
Thomas Murphy, WN1C, moved to reopen nominations for the 2026 slate of officers and directors. Seconded by Rex Blazer, N9TRX, all in favor.
No new nominations.
Rex Blazer, N9TRX, moved to accept Steve Ujvarosy, W9GZO as president, Thomas Murphy, WN1C, as vice president, Sam Ledbetter, KI5POE, as treasurer and Nicholas Lager, KB9SKW, as secretary by assent. Seconded by Jim Lattis, K9REO, all in favor.
Jeff Fritsche, KE9CQP, declined nomination for director at large.
Rex Blazer, N9TRX, moved to accept Patrick McCauley, NT9A, Ann Reh, KD9ZUE, Larry Waldhart, KD9VTR, as directors at large by assent. Seconded by Jim Lattis, K9REO, all in favor.

Paul Anderson, WB9QVV, announced that the MARA ham fest will be at the Mandt Community Center in Stoughton WI on April 18th with doors opening at 8:00AM. If you are able to volunteer please contact Paul.
New Business
Thomas Murphy, WN1C, reviewed the new 60m band requirements that go into effect on February 13th 2026.
Thomas Baden, AC9BJ, announced that the Minnesota QSO Party is the first Saturday in February from 8:00AM until 6:00PM. He and Nicholas Lager, KB9SKW, will be participating as a mobile station across the southern portion of the state.
