Who is FLARC?

Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club is a general purpose amateur radio club. We participate in a couple of annual operating events, including the Wisconsin QSO party in March, ARRL Field Day in June and Winter Field Day in January. We have members that like to chase DX (foreign contacts), work towards awards like WAS (Worked All States), build kits, operate QRP (low power), participate in Fox Hunts and just about anything else that is amateur radio related.

How to join FLARC

Interested in joining FLARC? Guests are always welcome at our meetings! We typically meet at 7:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month at UW Space Place, 2300 S Park Street in the Villager Mall.

If you are thinking about becoming an amateur radio operator, or have just received your license, FLARC is a great place to get started. We serve the Madison metro area and have about 70 members, with many knowledgeable in just about every aspect of amateur radio.

Membership dues are $25 for most members, with a discounted rate of $20 for seniors, $14 for an additional member in same household and $10 for students and are paid annually. These dues help to fund club events like ARRL Field Day and the holiday party, as well as club equipment.

New members can join at any of our meetings, or if you are ready to join now, you can join online or via mail. To join via US Mail, please print and fill out the printable form below, and mail the form and member dues to the address below. Checks should be made out to "FLARC".
