Motion to approve the minutes as published of the March 2026 meeting by Sam Ledbetter, KI5POE. Seconded by Michael Hoerstmann, KE9EHU, all in favor.
Treasurers report submitted and read by Sam Ledbetter, KI5POE.
March checking account balance is $4,356.00. Certificate of Deposit is $4,147.55. Forty eight paid members with $1,090.00 dues collected year to date. Motion to approve by Alex Curry, K9CE. Seconded by Michael Hoerstmann, KE9EHU, all in favor.
April checking account balance is $4,030.60. Certificate of Deposit is $4,152.72. Forty nine paid members with $1,090.00 dues collected year to date. Motion to approve by Thomas Murphy, WN1C. Seconded by Alex Curry, K9CE, all in favor.
Bragging Rights and Call Sign Changes
Thomas Murphy, WN1C, placed first in the January ARRL VHF contest operating the Single Op Portable Analog category. He also mentioned a possible new POTA entity.

Old Business
ARRL Field Day
Nine sponsors for ARRL Field Day. Doug Speer, W5WTX, and Larry Waldhart KD9VTR, will be co safety officers. We will have a Zoom meeting on May 5th at 7pm. The Waunakee Tribune will be writing a feature story for the area newspapers.
Updated location for the National Weather Service severe weather training. Wednesday April 22nd at 1pm in Waunakee and 6:30 pm in Fitchburg.
