Treasurer's report:

$3351, 24 members.

Gregory Noggle KC9LAW, Peter Formiller ( taking the test on Sunday )


Lloyd N9LB, ARRL ran a special contest 75th anniversary of the DXCC ( 1937 ).  Reran the original DXCC 100 countries, he got 115 countries in one year.
ARRL DX CW only last weekend, Ted ( not present ) got 2 million points.

VE Report:

1 Tech, 1 General at the last VE Session.

Tech class is Feb 23 & 24, VE Session after the class on Sunday.
General class is not finalized for a date yet, tentative date sometime in mid May.
The last general class was on Mothers Day.
"Not everyone is a mother" "Most people have one"

Upcoming Contests:

CQ 160 Contest is this coming weekend.
ARRL Phone Contest is the following Weekend.
March 10, 2013 is the WI QSO party.
North American RTTY Contest is this weekend.

Fox Hunt:

Last Fox Hunt was cancelled due to illness.

The next Fox Hunt is this coming weekend.
Thomas scans local repeaters while going to work.

Carolyn suggested that we have a "Upcoming Programming" suggestions portion to the meeting, in place of the "Carolyn Suggests" portion of the agenda.

Field Day Update:

Next meeting is March 23rd, 10-11 people on the committee.
N3FJP for logging. Dean & Barry looking for more CW operators.
March 1 is the deadline to sign up for bringing equipment.
Brad will be the cat herder.
Have not had a GOTA station in recent years.
Non General and Extra are welcome to come and operate.

Carolyn asked when and where the BOD meetings are held as they are open to members.
